SWAMP / MOČÁL
( SELECTION )
2015 - 2018
Swamp is a photographic series developed over four years and across all four seasons, created under varying light conditions. I limited myself to a single location in order to study light within the landscape — its rhythm, tonal scale, and the relationship between color and black-and-white representation.
Working exclusively through analog processes, I photographed the site using medium format cameras (6×9 and 6×12) as well as 35mm film. Through sustained observation and repetition, the place gradually transformed into a space of contemplation and pause. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the series reflects an attentive engagement with light, duration, and the subtle shifts that emerge through time.
