Field is a photographic series in which I explore the materiality of photographic film at its most fundamental level — the grain itself. I photographed fields using high-speed medium format film, deliberately developed in a coarse-grain developer to emphasize the physical structure of the photographic material.

The field becomes both subject and method: a space where image and matter converge. Through the amplification of grain, the landscape dissolves into a vibrating surface, oscillating between representation and abstraction. The series functions as a meditation on time and space, on the relationship between human presence and the world, and on the tension between transience and infinity.
