 LANDSCAPES / KRAJINKY
2004 - 2005

Pigment print  30 x 30 cm

Landscapes is a photographic series created through a combination of analog and digital processes. I worked with medium format 6×6 film, intervening directly into the photographic material. Through physical actions — scratching and disturbing the developed light-sensitive emulsion — I inscribed new layers of meaning and altered the reading of the image.

In post-production, the scanned negatives were further transformed through color adjustments, extending the dialogue between material intervention and digital refinement. The resulting images form imaginary landscapes that do not describe specific places, but refer to fundamental modes of perception and the way reality is visually constructed and understood.
